Q: I have had too many antibiotics that couldn't be averted and now have a recurring yeast infection. I've been to my doctor and I'm sure of my problem. I'm taking Monistate 3 ( tonight will be my third night) I' doing better, but feel I need a bit more to totally get rid of the yeast. Can I do that? In the future would I be better off with Monistat 1, 3, or 7? Thank you. Joan

A: It is customer preference as to which product you choose. When using Monistat® as instructed, your symptoms should improve in 3 days and you should be completely cured in 7 days. On average, most women should experience some improvement within three days and complete relief within seven days. This is the same, whether you use a 1- dose product, 3-day product or a 7-day product. We recommend that you contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve in 3 days or if you still have symptoms after 7 days.
