Q: I recently became sexually active, and I developed a UTI. When I developed the UTI, I also started my period at the same time. I drank loads and loads of cranberry juice and opted to not use antibiotics to cure it (I usually get yeast infections when I use antibiotics). Instead, I drank a lot of cranberry juice and took a lot of Vitamin C and it went away after a few days. However, I now have a yeast infection and I can't think of any reason why I would have one since I did not use antibiotics to cure the UTI. Can a UTI somehow lead to a yeast infection?
