Q: i recently discovered i had a yeast infection and began to use monistat 7 after using it for 3 days straight i went on vacation for the weekend and forgot to pack the remainder of the treatment, i still saw no signs of the yeast infection nor did i experience any symptoms and continued the treatment as soon as i got home before i went to bed...is it still effective even with a few days missed inbetween?

A: We have not tested our product in the way you have mentioned. When using Monistat® as instructed, your symptoms should improve in 3 days and you should be completely cured in 7 days. On average, most women should experience some improvement within three days and complete relief within seven days. This is the same, whether you use a 1- dose product, 3-day product or a 7-day product. We recommend that you contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve in 3 days or if you still have symptoms after 7 days.
