What is candida?
Candida is a genus of yeast-like fungi, formerly called Monilia.
What is candidiasis?
Candidiasis is an infection caused by a group of microscopic fungi or yeast called candida. There are more than
20 species of candida, the most common being candida albicans. These fungi live on all surfaces of our bodies and
are naturally occuring in the vagina. Under certain conditions, the candida can become so numerous they cause infections,
particularly in warm and moist areas. Examples of such infections are vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, and
certain skin and nail bed infections.
What is a vaginal yeast infection?
A vaginal yeast infection is the same as candidiasis.

A disposable applicator is used to insert the medication and can just be tossed once you've applied the treatment.
What is a reusable applicator?
With the reusable applicator you put the treatment into the applicator, clean it after you complete yourtreatment and then re-use it until your course of treatment is complete. It's easy and eco-friendly.
