What if it's not a yeast infection?

The reality is, the discomfort you're experiencing may not be from a yeast infection. Take a look at some
of the symptoms associated with urinary tract infections (UTIs) and other potential health conditions.

Urinary tract infection symptoms (some symptoms
may be similar to yeast infection symptoms):

  • Pain or burning sensation when urinating
  • Frequent urination
  • Urgent need to urinate, but little urine is passed

If you have these symptoms of a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI):

A urinary tract infection can become a serious health problem if the infection spreads to your kidneys,
so be sure to talk to a doctor if you think you have one.

Symptoms indicating other conditions:

  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Nausea
  • Back pain
  • Vomiting

If you have some of these symptoms:

These symptoms may be signs of other conditions, such as a kidney infection, a sexually
transmitted disease (STD) or a tubal pregnancy. You should contact your doctor or healthcare
provider immediately.
